民国24年(1935)1月由山西公营事业董事会创办，总号设在岱岳，原定资本20万，到位资本100万，发行纸币有民国23年(1934) 版1、5元券。民国24年(1935)版1、2角券，地名有太原、岱岳等，其流通区域为晋北盐区，抗日战争胜利后改为商业银行。
