据广州日报，香港警方于7月3日至4日开展“利针”行动，捣毁一活跃于东九龙的工地盒饭黑帮集团，拘捕125人，涉案金额超7600万港元。该团伙由64岁男子及其女友操控，每日制售约800份盒饭，年营业额近1200万港元，并通过恐吓驱赶竞争者。卧底探员曾被索7万港元“入线费”及月保护费。团伙还涉洗黑钱（6400万港元）、无牌经营食品及非法赌博，行动中查获约400万港元证物。
