在权威媒体《福布斯》近期发布的“2026中国国际化学校年度评选”中，北京乐成国际学校延续多年优异表现，小学、初中、高中均进入全国排名前十（北京地区前三），乐成幼儿园亦入选年度幼儿园榜单（该榜单不设具体排名），成为国内极少数全学段均获得权威认可的国际学校之一。

乐成学校幼儿园开放日

对于父母而言，寻找一所理想的幼儿园，不仅是在寻找一个安全、温暖的成长空间，更是在寻找一种真正理解儿童、尊重儿童，并相信每一个孩子都拥有无限潜能的教育理念。

自2014年开园以来，北京乐成国际学校幼儿园始终坚持高品质国际化早期教育实践。园所以IB PYP为核心课程框架，融合全球领先的幼儿教育研究与实践，采用“探究式玩中学”作为核心教学方法，中英文双母语沉浸式教学，让孩子在探索、提问、实验、合作与真实体验中不断学习，在真实而有意义的过程中建立思考力、创造力与自信心。

乐成学校小学部“深度探访日”

进入小学阶段，家长的关注往往更加具体而务实：一方面，学校的课程体系是否扎实，孩子能否真正获得持续的学术成长；另一方面，学生是否能够始终保持自信、主动与持久的学习热情，而非被动完成任务。

在乐成小学部，IB PYP超学科课程框架为学习提供坚实支撑，以核心探究主线贯穿学习单元，采用探究式与概念式教学方法，通过跨学科整合帮助学生建立知识之间的深层连接。

在这里，探究性学习不仅是寻找“正确答案”，更重要的是理解问题背后的原理与逻辑。在不断探索、分析与表达的过程中，学生不仅习得知识，更学会整合与应用知识，使各学科内容真正融会贯通，既具备学术严谨性，也能够在真实情境中解决问题。

与此同时，家长普遍重视的中文与数学等核心学科，同样获得系统而扎实的支持。中文课程采用循序渐进的阶梯式体系，帮助学生夯实语言基础、深化文化理解与文化自信；数学课程以美国共同核心标准为参考，同时强调在真实情境中的理解与应用能力。课堂不仅培养数学基础知识和技能，更重视思考过程与数学思维的建构，引导学生理解数学背后的逻辑与规律。

在小学部，我们同样重视每一位学生独特的成长轨迹。通过持续而系统的评估机制，孩子的发展被清晰记录，并以综合评估报告的形式进行全面而细致的反馈。

其中，MAP学业进步评估体系是一项针对阅读、语言和数学的自适应评估体系，主要应用于学生成长追踪，目前在美国及全球146个国家和地区广泛使用。乐成小学学生会重点参与阅读与数学两门科目的测试。为教师、学生和家长提供关于学业进步与个性化发展的参考信息。历年数据也将成为追踪学生成长轨迹的重要依据。

在本次周中深度探访活动中，您将全面了解小学课程理念与培养目标。学校将围绕不同年级组织定制化学习空间参观，带您走进中文、英文、数学与艺术课堂，以及创客空间、图书馆等学习场域，直观感受真实课堂如何发生，并深入理解每一个教学设计背后的逻辑与意义。

进入中学阶段，无论是帮助学生找到适合自己的未来升学方向，还是支持他们冲击更高目标，我们理解，学生的未来发展始终是家长最关注的核心议题。

在乐成，中学学习呈现为一条清晰、连贯、注重个性化发展的成长路径。

初中阶段（G6–G8）以IB MYP为框架，通过概念驱动与跨学科探究，引导学生从具体知识走向抽象思维，逐步建立自主学习能力。学习的重点，不仅在于获取知识，更在于理解、整合与灵活运用知识。

高中阶段（G9–G12）采用IB DP课程，强调多学科深度学习与能力迁移。学生通过实地考察、实习交流、课题研究与服务学习，在真实情境中连接学术与现实，拓展认知边界。

对于学业目标更高的学生，学校给予充分支持与重点培养；对于追求多元发展的学生，除IB课程外，学校还提供IDEATE创思课程等个性化升学路径，帮助他们在不同领域中探索并找到最适合自己的方向。

与此同时，乐成的个性化升学指导贯穿整个中学阶段，确保学生在不同成长时期都能够获得清晰引导、专业规划与持续支持。其核心目标聚焦于：

9–10年级，升学指导逐步走向精准与深入。学校引导学生思考理想中的大学体验，从地理位置、专业兴趣到院校匹配度进行综合考量。同时，学术规划也与课外活动、社会实践、领导力发展及拓展机会相结合，形成更加完整的发展规划。

11–12年级，升学指导进入高度个性化与聚焦时期。学生将与升学指导团队紧密协作，逐步优化选校策略、深入理解录取要求、系统准备申请材料，并通过文书、面试及补充材料真实展现个人优势。在这一过程中，学生、家庭与学校之间始终保持高效沟通，确保申请路径始终以学生为中心，并兼具前瞻性与时效性。

In the recently released 2026 China International Schools Rankings by Forbes China, Beijing City International School (BCIS) once again ranked among the country’s leading schools. BCIS was named a Top 10 school nationally across the Elementary, Middle, and High School divisions (Top 3 in Beijing), while the BCIS Early Childhood Center was also recognized among China’s leading kindergartens — making BCIS one of the few schools in China to receive distinction across every stage of education.

For more than two decades, this IB World School in the heart of Beijing’s CBD has remained committed to a balanced vision of education — one that values academic excellence alongside emotional wellbeing, character development, and a strong sense of purpose. For many parents, choosing a kindergarten is about far more than finding a safe and nurturing environment. It is about finding a school that genuinely understands children, respects childhood, and deeply believes in every child’s potential.

Since opening in 2014, the BCIS Early Childhood Center has remained dedicated to high-quality international early years education. Guided by the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) framework and informed by leading global research and practice, the programme embraces inquiry-based, play-centered learning within a bilingual immersion environment. Children learn through exploration, experimentation, collaboration, and real-world experiences — developing confidence, creativity, and critical thinking in meaningful and authentic ways.

As one of the first early childhood institutions in China to receive LEED Gold certification, the campus itself was intentionally designed to support children’s wellbeing, curiosity, and sense of wonder. Sunlit classrooms, creativity labs, rooftop gardens, a children’s library designed specifically for ages 2–6 (one of only six of its kind globally), and sustainable architectural features throughout the campus together create a learning environment truly built for children.

Over the past decade, the school has also maintained exceptionally high standards in faculty recruitment and professional practice. The Head of Early Childhood brings more than 30 years of international education experience and leads a warm, highly qualified global teaching team. More than 70% of faculty members are international educators, and most teachers hold master’s degrees or higher.

On June 6,

families with children aged 2–6 are invited to visit the BCIS Early Childhood Center to learn more about the school’s educational philosophy and curriculum. Guided by academic and admissions leaders, families will tour the learning spaces and gain firsthand insight into how children learn through imagination, inquiry, and purposeful play. Parents will also have the opportunity to discuss key topics including curriculum design, language balance, after-school care, enrichment programmes, meals, and student support directly with the school team.

As children enter the primary years, parents often begin asking more practical questions:

Will the curriculum support long-term academic growth? Will children remain curious, confident, and genuinely engaged in learning — rather than simply completing tasks?

At BCIS Elementary School, the IB PYP transdisciplinary framework provides a strong academic foundation while encouraging students to make meaningful connections across disciplines. Learning is organized around central inquiries and taught through inquiry-based, concept-driven approaches that help students understand not only what they are learning, but why it matters.

Inquiry at BCIS goes beyond finding the “right answer.” Students are encouraged to analyze, question, synthesize, and communicate ideas, gradually developing the ability to transfer knowledge and solve problems in authentic contexts. Academic rigor and real-world application are viewed not as opposites, but as complementary parts of meaningful learning.

Core subjects such as Chinese and mathematics are equally emphasized and systematically supported. The Chinese programme follows a carefully sequenced framework that strengthens language proficiency while deepening cultural understanding and confidence. Mathematics is informed by the U.S. Common Core Standards and places strong emphasis on conceptual understanding, problem-solving, and mathematical reasoning — helping students build both technical fluency and flexible thinking skills.

BCIS also recognizes that every child’s developmental journey is unique. Through ongoing assessment and comprehensive reporting systems, student growth is carefully documented and communicated in thoughtful, individualized ways.

One important tool is the MAP Growth assessment system, an internationally recognized adaptive assessment used across 146 countries and regions to measure progress in reading, language, and mathematics. At BCIS, students in Grades 2–5 participate primarily in reading and math assessments, providing teachers, students, and families with valuable insight into academic growth and personalized learning development over time.

During the Elementary School Experience Day,families will gain a comprehensive understanding of the curriculum philosophy and learning outcomes across grade levels. Visitors will explore authentic learning spaces including Chinese, English, mathematics, and arts classrooms, as well as the makerspace and library, while learning how instructional design supports both academic growth and student agency.

As students enter adolescence, families naturally begin thinking more seriously about future pathways — from identifying the right university fit to preparing for increasingly ambitious academic goals.

At BCIS, the secondary years are intentionally designed as a coherent and personalized learning journey.

In Middle School (Grades 6–8),students learn within the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP), where conceptual learning and interdisciplinary inquiry help students transition from concrete knowledge acquisition to abstract thinking and independent learning. The emphasis is not simply on mastering content, but on learning how to think critically, make connections, and apply understanding flexibly.

In High School (Grades 9–12),students spend the first half of their journeys continuing the MYP, before pursuing the IB Diploma Programme (DP) in Grades 11 and 12, engaging in rigorous interdisciplinary study while developing transferable skills through fieldwork, internships, research projects, and service learning. Students connect academic learning with real-world contexts and broaden their perspectives through authentic experiences beyond the classroom.

For students pursuing highly selective university pathways, BCIS provides strong academic challenge alongside individualized support. At the same time, students with diverse interests and strengths may also explore alternative pathways, including the school’s IDEATE Program, which offers a more personalized and interdisciplinary route toward future study and career exploration.

University counseling at BCIS is intentionally woven throughout the entire secondary experience, ensuring students receive age-appropriate guidance, strategic planning, and individualized support at every stage.

The program focuses on two key goals:

Helping each student identify a university pathway aligned with their strengths, passions, and long-term aspirations;

Providing strategic support for students pursuing admission to the world’s leading universities.

In Grades 6–8,students are encouraged to explore their interests, develop strong learning habits, and gradually understand how choices, engagement, and mindset shape future opportunities. As students transition into high school, academic planning begins through course selection and exploratory pathways while maintaining flexibility and breadth.

By Grades 9–10,university guidance becomes increasingly personalized and strategic. Students begin considering factors such as location, academic interests, university culture, and long-term goals, while academic planning is integrated with extracurricular involvement, leadership development, internships, and community engagement.

In Grades 11–12,the counseling process becomes highly individualized and focused. Students work closely with counselors to refine university lists, understand admissions expectations, prepare applications, and authentically communicate their strengths through essays, interviews, and portfolios. Throughout the process, families, students, and counselors maintain close collaboration to ensure every application pathway remains thoughtful, student-centered, and future-oriented.

During the Secondary School Experience Day,families will receive a comprehensive introduction to the MYP, DP, and IDEATE pathways led by the academic leadership team. Visitors will observe authentic multidisciplinary classrooms in action and gain insight into how students collaborate, discuss, analyze, and express ideas across subjects. Dedicated Q&A sessions will also provide opportunities to discuss curriculum pathways, academic support, university preparation, and long-term planning directly with teachers and school leaders.
