5月17日以来，广西柳州市柳南区已发生多次地震。据柳州市气象部门预报，5月14日以来，柳州市部分地区出现中到大雨、局地暴雨或大暴雨。预计17日到20日，柳州市仍多降雨，局地有暴雨或大暴雨，强降雨雨区与前期部分重叠，致灾风险增高。
根据《柳州市水利局洪水防御工作预案》规定，经会商，决定于2026年5月19日0时启动柳州市水利局洪水防御四级应急响应。
