确诊额颞叶痴呆后，张植母亲智力退化到“0岁”。2021年10月，他弃业开始全职照顾妈妈，1600多个日夜，几乎没睡过一个整觉，床头随时备着速效救心丸。“照顾失智者很艰难，要调整好心态，不然会抑郁。”张植说，妈妈失语前喜欢叫他“小幺儿乖乖”，只要听到这句话，再苦再累都会觉得幸福。虽然妈妈早已不明白何为“母子”、何为“家”，但张植下定决心，要像“超人”一样继续守护妈妈。
