新华社东京3月26日电（记者李子越 陈泽安）据日本气象厅消息，日本岩手县东部海域26日晚发生6.5级地震。
日本气象厅说，地震发生于当地时间23时18分（北京时间22时18分）左右，震中位于北纬39.5度、东经143.3度，震源深度约10公里。气象厅先前公布震级为6.4级，后调整为6.5级。
气象厅说，此次地震可能会引发海面轻微波动，但无需担心造成灾害。（完）
