缅甸国家媒体报道，缅甸经济银行有超过79万名退休人员在该行领取养老金。
报道称，其中约71万名退休人员通过Centralized e-Pension（集中式电子养老金）系统领取养老金。
Centralized e-Pension系统于2023年9月开始实施。根据该系统，持有e-Pension卡的退休人员可以在任何实施该集中系统的银行分行领取养老金。
目前，缅甸经济银行已有185家分行可以通过该系统发放养老金。
