2月24日，农历丙午年春节假期后的首个工作日，北京市轨道交通建设领域率先吹响“冲锋号”——地铁19号线二期工程（北延及北延支线）建设动员部署会召开，标志着该项目正式进入全面建设阶段。线路总长约24.1公里，途经海淀、朝阳、昌平三个行政区，共设8座车站，其中5座为换乘站。
