菲律宾火山地震研究所称，坎拉翁火山于2月19日16时38分发生了一次中等强度的喷发，持续时间为2分钟。此次喷发产生了一股深灰色的火山灰柱，上升至火山口上方2000米处。
坎拉翁火山目前维持2级警戒级别，严禁民众进入半径4公里内的危险区。（总台记者 黄铮铮）
