2025年初，两艘054B型护卫舰先后入列，这是中国建造的新一代护卫舰。054B型护卫舰采用了先进护卫舰主流的长艏楼船型设计，进一步提高隐身性能。排水量跃升至5000吨级，采用一体化隐身桅杆与双面相控阵雷达，换装100毫米主炮，在隐身性能、信息化水平和综合火力上实现全面突破。
