据11月18日声明，阿联酋阿提哈德航空宣布大幅扩充其空客宽体机队，已正式订购6架A330-900飞机，成为A330neo的最新客户。此外，该航司还宣布订购7架A350-1000飞机（其A350-1000机队规模达到27架）和三架A350F货机（其A350F机队规模达到10架）。
阿提哈德航空还在迪拜航展上宣布从Avolon租赁9架A330-900飞机。
