11月,位于首都CBD区域的北京乐成国际学校(BCIS)全校开放日如期而至,面向2-18岁学生家庭。11月22日,北京乐成国际学校幼儿园将开放校园,邀约2-6岁幼儿园全学龄家庭参观体验。11月23日,小学部与中学部将在主校区欢迎您的到来。

开放日中,学校将为来访家庭精心策划一系列丰富多元的活动:育人理念与课程设置的全方位解读;来自学生、家长与校友代表的经历分享;在学生大使带领下参观校园;与学校领导团队现场面对面交流互动。

这将是您了解乐成、感受乐成的最好机会。目前,开放日报名火热进行中——名额有限,预约从速。

乐成学校成立于 2005 年,二十年来始终致力于将自身建设成为现代教育、未来教育和严谨教育的引领者。学校为从幼儿园到高中的学生提供一贯制 IB 国际文凭课程,涵盖PYP幼小项目课程、MYP中学项目课程、DP 大学预科项目课程,以及乐成独创的 IDEATE 创思课程。

今年夏天,来自国内外教育界的多位顶尖人士共同加入乐成董事会,包括拥有40多年教学实践与教育管理经验的教育家,曾担任黄冈中学校长、黄冈市教育局局长的何兰田先生;国际学校领导力校长培训中心(PTC)总监Bambi Betts女士;国际学校教育联盟(ECIS)首席运营官、执行董事Kam Chohan女士;宾夕法尼亚大学经济学系资深教授、宾大教学卓越与创新中心(CETLI)联合执行主任Rebecca Stein女士等。他们深厚的国内外教育洞察与实践,以及世界级视野,将为乐成的持续发展提供专业指导与战略支持。



在乐成国际学校幼儿园,我们尊重每一位孩子与生俱来的好奇心,顺应他们的游戏天性,以探究式“玩中学”理念激发学习热情,让孩子在中英文双语环境中自然成长。

我们注重语言能力的全面发展,通过丰富的中英文学习活动,让孩子在真实情境中自然习得语言。课程同样重视逻辑思维的启蒙与培养,鼓励孩子在生活化、游戏化的学习体验中发展数学思维与逻辑探究能力,使数学成为他们理解世界、探索规律的有力工具。此外,艺术浸润课程与丰富的课后拓展活动,为孩子打开兴趣探索与创意表达的窗口,让学习的每一天都充满灵感与快乐。


乐成学校小学部(G1-G5)采用PYP超学科的教学理念,培养学生全面发展的综合能力。学习的体验穿越学科界限,与真实生活相联。在学科知识的基础上,让学生们建立知识间的联系,学以致用。无论是人文科学、自然科学、艺术、以及生存技能,还是全球发展的重要问题,都被嵌入在日常的学习场景中。对于学生学习成果,小学部同样会通过一系列评估与测试体系,更好的量化展现。

对于家长普遍关注的重点主题,小学部通过高质量的教育教学,为学生打下坚实基础。比如:针对中文学习,通过阶梯式中文课程的安排,帮助学生夯实语言基础与文化理解,熟练掌握中文识写、阅读、表达与交流;在数学学习中,在依据美国共同核心数学课程标准为指导的同时,充分结合在现实世界的真实应用,而不是仅仅掌握公式与算法。


乐成学校初中部(G6-G8)在 IB MYP 框架的指引下,采用概念驱动、因材施教、探究建构、以学生自驱力为核心的跨学科教学方法,帮助学生从具体思考到抽象思维,鼓励他们将所学运用到实际社会中,不在于知识记忆和机械的积累,而是培养他们建构自己的学习体系,让他们积极的面对未来学习和成长的挑战。


乐成学校高中部(G9-G12)采用 IB DP 课程框架,通过强调多学科齐头并进的深度学习,实现技能的转移应用,让学生有更多的学习机会建立学术与应用的连接。探究学习的过程同时围绕着实景访问、实习交流、课题研究、服务学习等展开,让学生将学习体验与抽象思维有机结合。



同时,结合现有国家课程与国际课程体系,乐成学校自主研发了创思课程模式,并已获得国际学校协会(CIS)和美国西部院校协会(WASC)认证。创思课程以项目式学习为核心,聚焦个性化实践与行业深度探索,允许学生根据所选课程,参与基于项目的体验式学习,从而构建以能力为导向的个人学习档案。从 9 年级起,学生可以在 IB 文凭课程和创思课程两者之间任选其一,并以此获得高中文凭。


在整个中学阶段,学校专注于课程优化与学生发展支持,既为高潜力学生提供个性化培养与资源,又兼顾不同层次支持。精准针对每个年龄段学生的需求,满足对于学生学业与身心健康的双重期待。同时通过打造高挑战与高支持的学习环境,最终全面提升学生的学术与国际竞争力。历年来,乐成毕业生的IB成绩均远高于全球平均水平。


自2009年迎来首届毕业生以来,学校已培养600余名毕业生,他们遍布六大洲30余个国家和地区的顶尖大学、文理学院及艺术院校,形成了多样化的学术路径与高含金量的升学成果。

In November, Beijing City International School (BCIS), located in the heart of Beijing’s CBD, will host its annual Whole School Open House event for families with children aged 2 to 18. On November 22, the BCIS Early Childhood Center will open its doors to families with children aged 2 to 6, while on November 23, the Elementary and Secondary School divisions will welcome visitors to the Main Campus,

During the Open House, families will enjoy a series of thoughtfully designed activities, including comprehensive introductions to the school’s educational philosophy and IB curriculum, sharing sessions from students, parents, and alumni, campus tours led by student ambassadors, and face-to-face discussions with the school’s leadership team. This is the perfect opportunity to learn about BCIS, feel the school’s spirit, and explore how each child’s potential can be nurtured. Registration is now open with limited availability, so we encourage early booking.

Founded in 2005, BCIS has dedicated the past twenty years to becoming a leader in cosmopolitan, progress, and rigorous education. The school offers a continuous International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme from our Kindergarten to Grade 12, including the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), Diploma Programme (DP), and the BCIS IDEATE Program.

As a modern educational institution rooted in China and connected to the world, BCIS draws upon Beijing’s rich cultural heritage and international resources to provide students with an excellent educational and experiential platform. The school is committed to developing well-rounded individuals who possess global perspectives and a strong sense of social responsibility.





BCIS has built a highly qualified and diverse faculty through global recruitment. All teachers hold internationally recognized teaching qualifications, more than 70 percent hold a master’s degree or higher, and most have over ten years of teaching experience. With an average service length of more than six years, the faculty represents both excellence and stability.


With a focus on progressive education, BCIS continues to innovate its curriculum and teaching practices to offer personalized, inquiry-based learning experiences that inspire creativity, independence, and critical thinking. Technology and innovation are integral to the BCIS experience. From the Maker Space in the Elementary School, to the Design Technology Lab in the Secondary School, and the APEX Center, students have access to state-of-the-art spaces for creation and exploration. BCIS students have consistently excelled in international competitions such as the ACAMIS VEX Robotics and LEGO Robotics tournaments, showcasing their creativity, technical skills, and passion for discovery.



This summer, several distinguished figures from both China and abroad joined the BCIS Board of Directors, bringing with them exceptional expertise and leadership in the field of education. Among them are Mr. He Lantian, a renowned educator with over 40 years of teaching and educational management experience, former Principal of Huanggang High School and Director of the Huanggang Municipal Education Bureau; Ms. Bambi Betts, Director of the Principals’ Training Center (PTC) for International School Leadership; Ms. Kam Chohan, Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director of the Educational Collaborative for International Schools (ECIS); and Dr. Rebecca Stein, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Economics at the University of Pennsylvania and coleader of Center for Teaching and Learning Innovation (CETLI) and serving as Executive Director of the Online Learning Initiative (OLI) .

At the BCIS Early Childhood Center, we honor each child’s natural curiosity and playfulness. Through an inquiry-based and play-based approach, children learn and grow naturally in a bilingual environment that encourages authentic communication and self-expression. The curriculum promotes comprehensive language development through meaningful real-world learning experiences, while also nurturing logical and mathematical thinking through hands-on, life-connected activities. Arts immersion and enrichment programs after school further allow children to explore their creativity, ensuring that each day is filled with inspiration and joy.


In Grades 1 to 5, the Primary Years Programmepromotes holistic development through interdisciplinary learning that connects academic subjects with real-life contexts. Students build knowledge, develop empathy, and learn how to apply what they know to the world around them. The progressive Chinese language program enhances literacy, comprehension, and cultural understanding, while mathematics instruction focuses on applying conceptual knowledge to practical situations rather than rote memorization.


In Grades 6 to 8, the Middle Years Programme (MYP)emphasizes concept-driven, student-centered learning that encourages critical and creative thinking. Students are guided to build their own understanding frameworks and connect knowledge to real-world challenges.


In Grades 9 and 12, students can choose between theIB Diploma Programme (DP)and the BCIS-developedIDEATE Program, both accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). IDEATE is a project-based learning model that integrates academic rigor with experiential opportunities such as internships, research, and innovation projects. BCIS provides an environment that is both highly challenging and deeply supportive, meeting the needs of diverse learners and empowering them to thrive academically and personally. Over the years, BCIS graduates have consistently achieved IB results well above the global average.



Since its first graduating class in 2009, BCIS has proudly sent more than 600 graduates to top universities, liberal arts colleges, and art schools across over 30 countries and regions, achieving exceptional and diverse academic outcomes.


As a 2–18 IB continuum school, BCIS continually reflects on an essential question: What kind of life should education prepare our students for? In September 2025, BCIS introduced its Graduate Profile, outlining the school’s vision for student development. The profile defines BCIS graduates as principled leaders, empowered learners, and wellbeing-cultivators. These qualities complement one another, guiding academic success and supporting lifelong growth.
