Shams表示：“丹佛掘金首发球员克里斯蒂安-布劳恩因左脚踝扭伤，至少伤缺6周，将在6周后接受复查。”
布劳恩是在11月13日掘金战胜快船的比赛中受伤的，那场比赛他打了16分钟后伤退，得到6分4板4助；本赛季至今，布劳恩共代表掘金出战11场比赛，全部首发，场均登场29.5分钟得到11.4分4.4篮板3助攻。
