长春轨道交通2号线东延工程历时5年建设竣工，9月20日通过初期运营前安全评估，标志该工程达到初期运营要求。经市政府批复， 2号线东延工程将于9月28日8时28分开通初期运营 ，届时将实现2号线东延工程与既有2号线贯通运营，2号线运营里程增至35.5公里，长春轨道交通运营线网总里程将达151.4公里。
之前报道是9月30日运行，提前了两天！
