8月17日，长沙供水公司发布消息，因水厂故障，猴子石水厂生产受到影响，影响范围：湘江大道以东、南湖路以南、韶山路以东、五一大道以南、车站路以东、浏阳河以西、万家丽路以西及环保大道以北合围区域将停水，临近地区水压、水量将减小。长沙供水公司已在处理中，将尽快恢复供水。
