China sold 1.262 million new energy vehicles (NEVs) in July, up 27.4 per cent year on year, according to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers.
NEVs accounted for 48.7 per cent of new car sales. Output rose 26.3 per cent to 1.243 million units.
From January to July, NEV sales totalled 8.22 million units, up 38.5 per cent year on year, accounting for 45 per cent of new car sales.
