当地时间8月4日，越南电动车商VinFast在印度泰米尔纳德邦SIPCOT工业园区正式举行电动车装配厂落成典礼。
VinFast泰米尔纳德工厂是该公司全球范围内第五个项目，也是第三座正式投运的生产基地，同时是VinFast在越南本土之外启用的首家工厂。
全面投产后，预计该厂将为当地直接创造3000至3500个就业岗位，以及数千个间接就业岗位。初始阶段，工厂将专注于组装VF 7与VF 6两款电动SUV车型。初期年产能为5万辆，未来可提升至15万辆，以满足日益增长的市场需求。
