在前不久柏林站的比赛中，王欣瑜连赢卡萨金娜、高芙、巴多萨、萨姆索诺娃闯入决赛，职业生涯首次跻身巡回赛决赛，还成为首位闯入WTA500级别草地决赛的中国选手。去年温网，王欣瑜也闯入十六强。
