5月10日，广州世界田径接力赛男子4×100米接力，中国队38秒30获小组第三，跑出赛季最佳但无缘决赛。
中国队四棒谢震业、曾克理、王胜杰、陈佳鹏，38秒30获得小组第三，也是中国队赛季最好成绩，不过无缘决赛，未能直通世锦赛。
第三组的日本队跑出37秒84，刷新赛季最好成绩。
