4月30日晚，河南漯河舞阳县应急管理局通报：
4月30日13时35分，舞阳县经开区漯河美迪康生物科技有限公司发生蒸馏釜爆炸事故。截至15时50分，事故现场火势已全部扑灭，未发生次生灾害。另据现场认真搜救，事故造成1人死亡、3人受伤，目前伤者生命体征稳定，善后工作正在有序开展。事故原因正在进一步调查中。
