查汗都斯乡地处循化县西端黄河南岸谷地，东连街子镇，西邻化隆县，南倚尕楞乡，北与化隆县甘都镇隔河相望，平均海拔1892米，距县城20公里。全乡辖17个行政村5206户19994人，共有18个基层党组织437名党员。全乡耕地面积26690亩 ，实际耕地面积21304亩，粮食作物10402亩，油料作物2701亩、蔬菜种植面积达8201余亩。
查汗都斯乡具有两个鲜明的特点：闻名全省的“红色热土”，所辖的红光村是全国唯一由西路红军修建的村庄，村内有全国唯一由西路红军战士帮助群众修建的红光清真寺、红军小学和庄廓院、水磨坊、榨油坊等红色遗迹，先后被评为全国民族团结进步教育基地、全省爱国主义教育基地、全市廉政建设警示教育基地等，已成为全省党员干部开展红色教育的主阵地。资源禀赋的“绿色沃土”，乡域耕地资源丰富，农业底蕴深厚，冬小麦、玉米、蚕豆为主的传统农业基础扎实，“黄河彩篮”农业示范基地为代表的现代农业有序发展，线辣椒、花椒、冷水鱼、林麝等特色农业稳步推进，被列为2022年全国农业产业强镇。

位于循化县最西端公伯峡大坝下游的红光村，有全国唯一一所由西路红军修建的红光清真寺、红军小学和18座红军宅院及西路红军纪念馆等红色历史遗迹。1987年，循化县人民政府根据青海省人民政府的题词“红军精神 光照千秋”，取“红光”二字。如今，红光村由西路红军展览馆、红军清真寺、民间纪念馆、红军小学、红色文化广场为“五点一体”的红色爱国主义教育基地作为发展红色旅游产业的核心内容，造就了珍贵的红色文化遗存，成为闪耀在历史深处的一颗红星，组成了河湟文化的重要一环，引领着各族干部群众奋发有为、砥砺前行。
NO.2“黄河彩篮”高原现代农业产业园
“黄河彩篮”高原现代农业产业园位于循化县查汗都斯乡大庄村境内，占地134公顷，有高标准日光节能温棚578栋，智能连栋温室2万平方米，施肥、浇水、采摘等基本实现了自动化，是我乡现代农业、科技农业的典范。棚内春意萌芽，争迎夏夜星空。这里四季都能产出新鲜蔬菜，游客既可以观光园区内的盎然景色，也可以尽享采摘带来的乐趣，是未来“现代农业观光旅游”的好去处。
NO.3“布尔塘”田园综合体
大庄村布尔塘田园综合体位于查汗都斯乡黄河沿岸谷地，原为800余亩撂荒山地，经党建引领开发焕发新生。项目依托"布尔塘"生态资源，打造集儿童游乐、休闲采摘、观光体验于一体的农旅融合新地标。设有彩虹滑梯、沙池等儿童娱乐设施，搭建特色蒙古包、星空帐篷营地，游客可沉浸式体验西瓜、线辣椒采摘乐趣，俯瞰黄河壮美风光。综合体通过"党支部+合作社"模式运营，将荒山变为致富田园，既盘活土地资源，又带动周边40余户村民就近就业，形成生态效益与经济效益双赢的乡村振兴示范样板。
NO.4新建村五稼禾冷水鱼养殖场
黄河岸边的海东市循化撒拉族自治县，因独特的水域、气候条件，成为发展冷水鱼网箱养殖产业的理想之地,近年来，“黄河循鳟”品牌越来越亮，为了适应客户不同的购买需求，冷水鱼产品逐渐向规模化、品牌化发展，以“看得见、摸得着”的方式开创新的增收致富渠道。游客们不仅可以欣赏到碧波荡漾的黄河美景，更能近距离观赏到特色冷水鱼的独特魅力。透过清澈的网箱，各种冷水鱼在水中悠然自得，犹如一幅生动的画卷，让人流连忘返。

庵古鹿拱北位于循化县查汗都斯乡公伯峡库区、险峻山腰处，古迹耸立，每年有近4000名撒藏回汉等民族群众拜访。据传说，庵古鹿拱北为中东地区的一位伊斯兰贤者来中原传教显迹的地方，距今已有800多年历史。庵古鹿拱北不仅是我国与阿拉伯国家千年来友好往来的见证，也是我国西部多民族和谐团结的的典范。除了回族、撒拉族群众以外，还有藏族、汉族的信众来此拱北点香、祈福，多民族群众在同一个拱北上进行祈祷、和谐相处，进一步提升促进民族大团结、大融合的引领力和向心力。
NO.6公伯峡水库
循化四大水库之一，岸边两山对峙，崇山峻岭，高耸入云，陡壁如削，形势十分险要。往下游望去，奔涌不息的黄河也有大家闺秀的一面，秀美、静谧，群山环抱着黄河，倒映在其中，真像是一幅天然的山水画卷。乘上游艇，随水而走，带走所有疲惫和烦恼，找到春色里生生不息的温柔和希望，随着游船的逐渐深入，岸边的柳林若隐若现，湖水也随之被染成了嫩绿的色彩，波光粼粼，春意盎然，令人心旷神怡！
