总台记者当地时间12月31日获悉，从30日晚间开始，日本多地发生住宅起火事件。
据悉，当地时间30日晚，新潟县长冈市发生一起住宅火灾，致1人死亡；当地时间31日凌晨，日本熊本市西区、香川县多度津町、大阪府枚方市、千叶市中央区各发生一起火灾，共致4人死亡。
