Qu Hede is currently the Art Director of CMC International Culture and Media, and the Minister of Calligraphy and Ceramics App Department. He is a guest professor of the "Art Inheritance" program of CCTV, a member of the Central Cultural Committee of the Democratic League of China, director of the Central Academy of Fine Arts of the Democratic League of China, a national gift artist, a first-class national fine artist, and a member of the Collectors Association. He is a director of the Hong Kong Federation of Literary and Artistic Societies, a director of the Calligraphers Association, a member the Poets Association, and a member of the Writers Association. He is a specially appointed painter of the Hong Kong Art Research Institute, an invited painter of the Academy of Calligraphy and Painting, the President of the Calligraphy and Painting Academy of "Voice of Agriculture" of CMC, and the Executive Vice President of Calligraphy and Painting Academy of "Grateful China". He is a member of the Calligraphy Research Society of the Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Academy, a member the Cultural Committee of the Liaoning Democratic League of China, a director of the Liaoning Academy of Fine Arts of the Democratic League of China, a specially appointed of the Shenyang Military Calligraphy and Painting Research Society. He is a member of the Liaoning branch of the Chinese Artists Association. In the early 980s, he went to Beijing to seek out famous teachers, and was deeply loved by Mr. Wu Zuoren, Ms. Xiao Shufang and Mr. Hou Yimin. He apprenticed under Mr. Wu Zuoren and Ms. Xiao Shufang, diligently studying the techniques of Chinese painting, became a beloved disciple of Ms. Xiao Shufang.
