北京时间11月8日，南通支云官方宣布，杨明洋当选队内10月最佳球员。
当选月度最佳球员，杨明洋说道：“非常感谢球迷对我和球队的支持，虽然我们没有到达俱乐部的目标，但这也算球队需要经历的过程。只要俱乐部健康发展，我相信球队肯定能再次冲超成功。”
杨明洋共为南通支云在10月出场3次(11月2日的收官战统计在10月内)，贡献1次助攻。
