10月29日，央视新闻对话方太集团董事长兼总裁茅忠群，聊聊中国厨电新跨越。谈及不上市的原因，茅忠群表示，方太是主动选择不上市。
他指出，上市对企业来说不一定全是好处，很可能会影响企业决策的定力。“股价的浮动，每季的财报都可能影响公司决策，不上市我就完全可以按照自己的想法，按公司的战略做业务。”
