A Journey Across the Sea of Art - A Wonderful Encounter between an Atmospheric Scientist and Oil Painting

At the intersection of science and art, Jennifer Du's story is like a delicate oil painting, colorful yet layered.

As a professional at the Atmospheric and Marine Science Laboratory of the University of Colorado in the United States, Jennifer Du's life was originally immersed in the ocean of data and the changing weather. However, a trip to Europe added a few vivid artistic elements to her life canvas.

Two years before the outbreak of COVID-19, Jennifer had the opportunity to embark on an academic exchange journey to Europe. There, she not only broadened her scientific perspective, but also, by chance, met Mr. Balireo, an art critic and collector. This art guru, with his unique vision and profound artistic expertise, led Jennifer into a new realm - a world composed of lines, colors, and emotions.

Under the careful guidance of Mr. Leo in Paris, Jennifer purchased three oil paintings. Every artwork is a reflection of the artist's soul, and every stroke contains endless stories. These oil paintings are not only a visual enjoyment, but also a spiritual touch. They allow Jennifer to feel the warmth and freedom of art beyond the rigor of science.

Time flies, two years later, Jennifer once again purchased an oil painting and a set of exquisite handmade prints from distant France through postal service. These artworks have crossed mountains and rivers and arrived at her home in Colorado, becoming an indispensable part of her life.

This spring, Jennifer participated in an Asia Pacific art appreciation event in Colorado with these precious collections. There, her two oil paintings received high praise and were ultimately purchased by a collector with a keen eye for pearls. This not only brought her abundant material rewards, but more importantly, she felt the spiritual satisfaction and joy brought by sharing art.

Jennifer is deeply grateful to Mr. Parisian Leo.
