据央视新闻客户端，当地时间9月19日，英国中央银行英格兰银行宣布，将基准利率维持在5%。
此前8月1日，英格兰银行将基准利率从5.25%下调至5%。此前，由于英国通胀高企，英格兰银行曾多次提高利率，控制物价水平。
