北极熊画廊荣幸的宣布将于2023年6月24日呈现群展项目 “天空没有翅膀的痕迹”，展览汇集了五位艺术家俸正杰、孟小为、石金玲、张旭东、张钊瀛的绘画作品，本次展览希冀通过这五个绘画样本探讨绘画创作所呈现的社会现实价值、时代价值以及绘画本身的价值，从而达到从五至N的探索意义。

The Polar Bear Gallery is honored to announce that it will present a group exhibition project on June 24, 2023, titled "Traces Without Wings in the Sky". The exhibition features the paintings of five artists, namely Feng Zhengjie, Meng Xiaowei, Shi Jinling, Zhang Xudong, and Zhang Zhaoying. The aim of this exhibition is to explore the social and practical value, contemporary value, and the value of painting itself through these five painting samples, in order to achieve exploratory significance from five to N.

AI绘画的出现颠覆了人们对绘画的认知，也让很多人对于绘画本身的价值产生了质疑。其实有点杞人忧天，AI绘画恐难替代艺术家的绘画。艺术家的绘画不仅有温度，有情感，还有时间性，有一个循序渐进的过程。艺术家一步步的成长，一是靠对于艺术的热爱，一天天笔耕不辍地创作，二是靠长时间对于社会、世界、人性的观察和思考，才产生了独具个人特色的艺术观念。泰戈尔曾言：“天空没有翅膀的痕迹，但我已飞过。”其意为过程比结果更加重要，AI绘画是很强大，但缺少了过程，就缺少了厚重感，缺少了生命体验。

The emergence of AI painting has overturned people's understanding of painting and also raised questions about the value of painting itself. Actually, it's a bit worrisome, AI painting may not be able to replace artists' paintings. Artists' paintings not only have warmth, emotions, but also timeliness, with a gradual process. The growth of artists step by step is based on their love for art, constantly creating day by day. Secondly, it is through long-term observation and reflection on society, the world, and human nature that they have developed unique artistic concepts. Tagore once said, "There are no traces of wings in the sky, but I have flown over." It means that the process is more important than the result. AI painting is very powerful, but without the process, there is a lack of heaviness and a lack of life experience.

艺术家的生命路径不尽相同，有的从小学艺，有的“半路出家”，有的早年成名，有的大器晚成，有的土生土长，有的海外归来。本次展览的五位参展艺术家俸正杰、孟小为、石金玲、张旭东、张钊瀛，他们来自全国各地，从艺经历各不相同，正是不同的人生轨迹，不同的艺术视野，不同的社会认知，造就了各自独特的艺术语言。

The life paths of artists vary, with some learning from a young age, some becoming "halfway monks", some becoming famous early on, some becoming great later, some being born and raised locally, and some returning from overseas. The five participating artists in this exhibition, Feng Zhengjie, Meng Xiaowei, Shi Jinling, Zhang Xudong and Zhang Zhaoying, come from all over the country and have different artistic experiences. It is different life paths, different artistic visions and different social cognition that create their own unique Artistic language.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS

俸正杰 Feng Zhengjie

1968年11月出生于四川安岳。1992年7月毕业于四川美术学院美术教育系，获学士学位。1995年7月毕业于四川美术学院油画系，获硕士学位。 曾参加威尼斯双年展、广州三年展、成都双年展等和全球多个重要美术馆的个展和群展，作品被卢森堡国家当代艺术博物馆（卢森堡）、休斯顿美术馆（美国）、新加坡美术馆（新加坡）、龙美术馆（中国）、民生现代美术馆（中国）、余德耀美术馆（中国）、清华大学艺术博物馆（中国）、四川美术学院美术馆（中国）、谭国斌当代艺术博物馆（中国）等国内外美术馆、机构和个人广泛收藏。曾参与主演韩国艺术电影《I’m FENG》并参加全州、首尔等多个国际电影节。现为四川音乐学院美术学院、河北传媒大学客座教授。现生活、工作于北京、成都、新加坡、济州（韩）等地。

Born in November 1968 in Anyue, Sichuan. In July 1992, he graduated from the Department of Fine Arts Education of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute with a bachelor's degree. In July 1995, he graduated from the Oil Painting Department of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute with a master's degree.He has participated in individual exhibitions and group exhibitions of Venice Biennale, Guangzhou Triennial, Chengdu Biennale, and many important art museums around the world. His works have been exhibited by the National Museum of Contemporary Art of Luxembourg (Luxembourg), the Houston Art Museum (America), the Singapore Art Museum (Singapore), the Long Museum (China), the Minsheng Modern Art Museum (China), the Yuz Museum Shanghai (China), the Art Museum of Tsinghua University (China) Sichuan Fine Arts Institute Art Museum (China), Tan Guobin Museum of Contemporary Art (China) and other art museums, institutions and individuals at home and abroad have extensive collections. I have starred in the Korean art film 'I'm FENG' and participated in multiple international film festivals such as Jeonju and Seoul. He is now a visiting professor of the Academy of Fine Arts of Sichuan Conservatory of Music and Hebei Communication University. Currently living and working in Beijing, Chengdu, Singapore, Jeju (South Korea) and other places.

孟小为 Meng Xiaowei

孟小为出⽣于甘肃，82年天⽔师范学院美术专业毕业，88年研修于中央工艺美院，曾任陇南师专客座教授。2002年上海画家村成立工作室，一直从事绘画与纪录片·影像拍摄，举办四次个人绘画展，参加过一些国际重要的展影活动，作品被机构个人收藏并拍卖，现主要往来于北京，生活在甘肃陇南。

Meng Xiaowei was born in Gansu. In 1982, he graduated with a major in Fine Arts from Tianhe Normal University. In 1988, he studied at the Central Academy of Arts and Crafts and served as a visiting professor at Longnan Normal University. In 2002, a studio was established in Shanghai Painter Village, which has been engaged in painting, documentaries, and image shooting. It has held four individual painting exhibitions and participated in some important international exhibition activities. Its works have been collected and auctioned off by institutions. Currently, it mainly travels to Beijing and lives in Longnan, Gansu.

石金玲 Shi Jingling

出生于贵州黎平，2008年毕业于贵州师范大学美术学院油画专业，独立艺术家，艺术机构总监，现工作生活于上海和贵阳。他的个展包括：“曾朴&石金玲双个展｜我秀故我在/无边造梦机”，STArtz’ Gallery开始画廊，贵阳，2023；“未知场所一一石金玲个人作品展”，纤维空间，贵阳，2020；“身是客——石金玲个人作品展”，重庆长江当代美术馆，重庆，2017；“躲不开的蓝一一石金玲个人作品展”，翰墨金石艺术馆，贵阳，2016；“石金玲梦境主题艺术沙龙品鉴展”，高新区展馆，贵阳，2016；“入戏——石金玲个人油画作品展”,贵阳，2008。

张钊瀛 Zhang Zhaoying‍

1988年出生于中国广州，毕业于四川美术学院油画系，学士学位，比利时布鲁塞尔艺术学院，硕士学位。澳门科技大学博士在读，任教于四川美术学院艺术人文学院，韩国三育大学硕士研究生导师。作为85后出生的重要艺术家代表之一。作品国际化视野是相当明显的，充分体现出跨媒介、跨语言以及跨时代的精神混合现场。长期研究，实践图像史，重构话语颠復性的“个人场域”。主要个展：艺博画廊，上海（2021），南京艺术学院美术馆，南京（2019），一马画廊，成都（2018），MAO SPACE,上海（2019），L－ART那特画廊，成都（2016），艺元空间，武汉（2016），EGG画廊，北京（2015）。

Born in Guangzhou, China in 1988, he graduated from the Oil Painting Department of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute with a bachelor's degree, and from the Brussels Academy of Fine Arts, Belgium with a master's degree. Macau University of Science and Technology is a doctoral student, teaching in the School of Arts and Humanities of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute, and master's supervisor of Sanyu University in Korea. As one of the important representatives of artists born after 1985. The international perspective of the work is quite obvious, fully reflecting the mixed spirit of cross media, cross language, and cross era. Long term research, practical image history, and reconstruction of the 'personal field' of discourse reversibility.
