据悉，豫商经济技术开发区作为省政府派出机构，起步区规划面积拟定为100平方公里，中期目标200平方公里，远期目标达到300平方公里，将为加快建设“对外开放桥头堡、枢纽经济新高地”“中原—长三角经济走廊先导城市”，建设国家区域中心城市、争创省域副中心城市提供重要支撑。
