1986年，老山前线，一名伤员躺在地上，记者拍下了这张珍贵的老照片，镜头中这位战士因为胸部中弹，已经生命垂危，战友们围在他的身旁，此时却无可奈何。
据记载，在收复老山作战时我方共牺牲669人（包括少量轮战部队烈士），他们的平均年龄只有21.9岁，就是这些年轻的生命，用鲜血捍卫了祖国的尊严。
