2008年8月13日，北京奥运会体操比赛中，中国队出场的程菲、邓琳琳、杨伊琳、李珊珊、江钰源、何可欣顶住压力，完美表现，以188.900分击败美国队，获得中国体操史上第一个女团奥运金牌。
同时，这也是中国代表团奥运史上获得的第五枚团体项目金牌。赛后，中国女体还被一些网友赋予了“花木兰体操队”的美誉。
