据人民日报消息，2月23日，记者从内蒙古包头市新型冠状病毒感染肺炎防控工作新闻发布会上获悉，截至2月23日14时，包头市累计报告确诊病例18例。经专家组会诊，10例为普通型、8例为轻型。
在这18例确诊病例中，确诊病例10至16以及第18例共8人为同一传播链条，是典型的家庭聚集性传播。
