24日晚，法国北部港口城市加来附近海域发生偷渡船只倾覆事件，已造成27人死亡，包括5名妇女和1名女童。另有2名落水者虽已被救起，但仍有生命危险。法国总统马克龙当天通过一份声明表示，法国不会让英吉利海峡成为一座坟墓。
