当地时间1月3日，印度北部加济阿巴德地区一间火葬场的屋顶坍塌，约40名参与葬礼的人被困在废墟中。至少18名参与者在屋顶下避雨时，因屋顶坍塌死亡。目前房屋倒塌的原因尚不清楚，当局计划详细调查此事故。
