美好的圣诞节过去，马上就要迎来元旦节啦！
元旦节意味着新的一年开始，也就是公历的1月1日，是世界多数国家通称的“新年”。
我们国家将“元旦”称为公历新年，将“春节”称为农历新年。新年的氛围将从农历十二月一直持续到正月，通常是公历的1月份到二月份，人们会以各种不同的方式庆祝新年的到来。
而春节是真正属于我们的、埋藏于我们“集体记忆”的传统节日。帮助孩子了解我们自己的文化，春节是一个最好的主题。
今天为大家介绍的一本与春节相关的绘本
《A New Year’s Reunion》
《A New Year’s Reunion》中文原版名叫《团圆》，是第一届“丰子恺儿童图画书奖”的获奖作品。它于2011年被翻译成英文引进到美国，并且在2011年年底，被《纽约时报》评为2011年度十大最佳儿童绘本，这是《纽约时报》开评此项活动多年以来，第一本中国绘本获此殊荣。
2020年4月，列入《教育部基础教育课程教材发展中心中小学生阅读指导目录（2020年版）》。
记述了小主人公毛毛的童年回忆的一幕幕，勾勒出了家乡过年的景象。
Papa builds big houses in faraway places.
He comes home only once each year,
During Chinese New Year.
Today, Mama and I wake up really early because…
爸爸在远方盖房子
他每年只在春节回家一次
今天，我和妈妈起了个大早，这是因为
今天是出远门的爸爸难得回家的日子，
他要回家和我们一起过年。
I watch him from a distance,
not daring to get close.
Papa comes over and sweeps me up in his arms,
prickling my face with his beard.
“Mama!” I cry in alarm.
“Look what I’ve got for you!”
我远远看见了他，但不敢靠近
爸爸过来把我搂在怀里，用胡子刺痛我的脸
“妈妈！”我尖叫道
Papa rummages in
his big suitcase and takes out
—ooh, what a pretty hat!
Mama has a new padded coat, too.
“看看我给你带来了什么！”爸爸
爸爸在他的大手提箱里翻找
拿出来一顶很漂亮的帽子！
妈妈也有一件新的棉衣
Later, it’s time to make sticky rice balls.
Papa buries a coin in one of the balls and says,
“Whoever finds the ball with the coin
will have good luck.”
之后，到了做汤圆的时间
爸爸在其中一个汤圆里藏了一个硬币，说
“如果谁吃到了有硬币的汤圆
谁就会是幸运的”
Pop, pop, pop, bang, bang, bang!
We hear firecrackers outside all night.
I lie between Papa and Mama and fall asleep,
drowsily hearing them whispering, whispering…
砰砰砰，嘭嘭嘭！
我们整晚都听着外面的爆竹声
我躺在爸爸妈妈的中间，渐渐入睡
迷迷糊糊听到他们的低声细语
Early the next morning,
Mama serves up piping-hot
Sticky rice balls, and Papa feeds me with a spoon.
Suddenly, I bite on something hard.
“The fortune coin!
It’s the fortune coin!” I shout.
“Good for you, Maomao!
Quick, put it away in your pocket
so the good luck won’t escape!”
Papa is more excited than I am.
第二天一大早
妈妈端上了热气腾腾的汤圆
爸爸拿了一个勺子喂我
突然间，我咬到了一个硬硬的东西
“幸运币！
是幸运币！”我大叫
“毛毛，你运气真好
快，把它放到你的口袋里
这样好运就不会跑走了！”
爸爸比我都兴奋
Mama helps me into a brand-new jacket
we’re going New Year visiting!
妈妈给我穿上崭新的夹克
我们要去拜年了
On the way, I meet my friend Dachun.
“Maomao, where are you going?”
“I’m out for New Year visits with my papa!”
“Me, too. Look, I got a big red envelop!”
在路上，我碰到了我的朋友大春
“毛毛，你去哪里？”
“我和爸爸去拜年！”
“我也是。看，我得到了红包！”
“Well, how about this?”
I take the coin out of my pocket.
“I have a fortune coin! My papa buried it
in a sticky rice ball, and I found it!”
“哇！这个怎么样？”
我把幸运币从口袋里掏了出来
“我有一个幸运币
我爸爸把它藏在汤圆里。我找到了它！”
On the second day of New Year's,
the sky is gloomy
and it looks as if it's going to snow.
Papa gets busy fixing the windows,
painting the door, and change the lightbulbs —
and the whole house brightens up.
“Come on, let’s fix the roof!”
Papa says with a wink.
Excellent! Mama never allows me up there alone!
新年的第二天，天空变得阴沉
看起来要下雪了
爸爸忙于修补窗户,刷门和换灯泡—
整个屋子都亮起来了
“来，一起修屋顶！”爸爸边说边冲我眨了眨眼
太棒了！妈妈从不允许我独自去那里
Hey, I can see Dachun’s roof!
“Listen, what’s that sound over there?” I say.
“Oh, it’s the dragon dance on Main Street.”
嘿！我能看到大春家的屋顶
“听，那是什么声音？”我说
“哦，是大街上的舞龙”
爸爸直起身，望向远方
Papa straightens up and looks into the distance.
“Where is it? Where is it?”
I stand on tiptoe, stretching up as far as I can.
Papa puts me on his shoulders.
“Now can you see it?” he asks.
“Yes, I can. They’re coming!”
爸爸把我放在他的肩膀上
“在哪里？在哪里？”
我踮起脚尖，尽可能踮得高一些
“现在能看到了吗？”他问
“能！他们来了！”
On the third day of New Year’s,
it snows—really hard!
When it finally stops,
Dachun and the other children
come and get me to play.
We build a huge snowman in the courtyard
and have a snowball fight.
新年的第三天，下起了大雪
雪停的时候，大春和别的小朋友来了
叫我一起去玩
我们在庭院里堆了大大的雪人
I don’t go home till it’s getting dark.
I feel inside my pocket and …
I can’t find the coin!
My fortune coin is gone!
I rush out to the courtyard,
but it’s all covered in snow.
Where is my fortune coin?
我直到天黑才回家
我摸了摸口袋
发现找不到硬币了
我的幸运币不见了
我重回庭院，但一切都被大雪覆盖
我的幸运币在哪里？
“Don't cry, sweetie.
I'll give you another one.
Look, it's exactly the same!”
Papa scoops another coin out of his pocket.
“I don’t want that one—
I want the other one!” I bawl.
“宝贝别哭。我会再给你一个的
看，这个一模一样”
爸爸从口袋里掏出另一个硬币
“我不要这个，我要那个！”我大哭
In the evening, I creep into bed, miserable,
but as I take off my jacket, clink!
Something falls to the floor.
It’s the coin! My fortune coin!
“Papa, come quick—come and see!
I haven’t lost the fortune coin.
It’s been with me all the time.”
到了晚上，我爬上床，痛苦不堪
但当我脱掉我的夹克时，叮叮当
有东西掉到地上了，我硬币！我的幸运币
“爸爸，快来看
我没有丢掉我的幸运币
它一直和我在一起”
That night, I sleep very soundly.
When I get up the next morning,
I see Mama helping Papa pack.
He is leaving today.
那个晚上，我睡得特别好
第二天我起床的时候
看看妈妈在给爸爸收拾行李
他今天就要走了
Soon, Papa’s packing is done.
He crouches down and gives me a big hug,
Whispering in my ear,
“Next time I’m back,
I’ll bring you a doll, OK?”
“No, Papa.” I shake my head hard.
“I want to give you something…”
很快地，爸爸整理好了行李
他蹲下来拥抱我，在我耳畔轻声说
“下次我回来的时候，给你带个娃娃好吗？”
“不，爸爸。”我使劲地摇了摇头
“我想给你个东西…”
I put the coin, all warm from being
held in my hand for so long,
in Papa’s palm and say,
“Here, take this. Next time you’re back,
we can bury it in the sticky rice ball again!”
Daddy is very quiet.
He nods and hugs me tight.
我把在手里握了很久而变得温暖的硬币
放在爸爸的手掌里，说
“给你，把这个带上。下次你回来的时候
我们可以再把它埋在汤圆里！”
爸爸沉默了
他点着头，把我紧紧怀抱
这本书让我们体会到了浓浓的亲情，父爱的伟大，尽在平实的文字背后。把人物微妙的心理和深沉的情感隐含在简单的寥寥数语之中，让我们在阅读的时候，禁不住要停下来细细品味并深深感动。
这种珍贵的情感和温馨的生活，是寒冬里的一股暖流，温暖了人的心。那种团圆时的家常幸福和离别时的依依不舍，牵动着每个人的心弦。
书中除了情感之外，本书所提的幸运币，也让我们认识到中国大部分地方的过年习俗，比如说贴春联、包汤圆、拜年、看舞龙等等。
绘本的成功离不开这两位优秀的作家余丽琼和画家朱成梁。
作者简介
余丽琼(YuLi-Qiong)1980年出生在安徽安庆，南京大学文学学士、戏剧艺术在读硕士，中国散文学会会员。现为《东方娃娃》编辑。自1996年起发表散文、诗歌、小说十万余字。
朱成梁(ZhuCheng Liang)1948年1月出生于上海，少年时代在苏州度过，毕业于南京艺术学院美术系油画专业，曾为江苏美术出版社副总编辑，现已退休。热爱图画书创作，并从中得到乐趣。
创作者余丽琼虽然没有说出任何乡愁，但从爸爸回家、小女孩被抱起，短短几页，一股很深的情感已经蕴藏着，并随着团聚、吃年夜饭、看热闹的街景，到爸爸又要回到工作岗位、小手紧握幸运币给爸爸，聚聚合合、离离散散，道尽对下一次团圆，更深的企盼。
她说：“好的绘本，是在讲每个人心底的故事……创作《团圆》，其实就是很单纯想把我童年的故事写出来。我的父亲是一个建筑师。因为要到各地做建设，盖房子，经常出差。团圆，其实就是写我当时的那种心情，跟父亲离别又相聚，对他的期待，对他回来的那种期盼。”
