18日，崇阳县桂花泉镇雷竹基地，村民将一袋袋谷壳覆盖在雷竹上，为雷竹做好保温防冻，好早出笋早上市。
目前，该镇已有雷竹种植户66户，其中来自浙江的种植户20户，全镇雷竹种植面积10000余亩，今年新增2000亩。
