9月7日，华为在广州正式发布新一代三折叠手机Mate XT 2。新机全系搭载麒麟9050 Pro芯片，这是全球首款落地“韬定律”、采用逻辑折叠技术的旗舰芯片。 发布会现场，华为常务董事、终端BG董事长余承东称麒麟9050 Pro为“史上最强”麒麟芯片，整机性能提升42%。同时，他在现场飙起英文，连续用“Super fast、Super intelligent、Super cool”三个“Super”概括芯片在性能、智能和能效方面的表现，引发观众尖叫欢呼。
