8月28日，封面新闻记者从应急管理部和国家消防救援局获悉，消防救援队伍分水陆空三路开展西藏吉隆泥石流失联人员搜救。其中，陆路两支消防救援分队翻山进入受灾核心区，水域采取橡皮艇编队挺入受灾核心区，空中使用大载重无人机投送消防员救援，共计680余人消防队员参与现场救援。
