8月26日，有消费者反映，在重庆无印良品（北城天街店）购物时被工作人员质疑偷盗店内物品，两次翻查她的背包。消费者认为门店无权翻查她的背包，对于被当作小偷的遭遇感到不满。
8月27日，涉事门店工作人员告诉记者， 门店已向消费者道歉，相关事件已交由公司统一处理。
