北京时间8月22日，据ESPN名记Shams报道，休赛季被国王裁掉的德罗赞将以1年390万美元的价格加盟掘金。
Shams在社媒表示：“消息人士告诉ESPN，六次NBA全明星德马尔-德罗赞已同意以一年390万美元的合同加盟丹佛掘金队。”
上赛季，德罗赞为国王队出场77次，场均可以得到18.4分2.9篮板4.1助攻，投篮命中率为49.7%，三分命中率为32%。
