Audrey Hobert或许会自认只是个幸运的新手。但当她以Taylor Swift与《海底总动员》中Dory式审美碰撞出怪诞流行乐时，她表现得像位久经沙场的专家。最新的证据是她登上NPR Tiny Desk音乐节目，献唱了《Thirst Trap》、《Sue Me》等来自处女作专辑《Who's The Clown?》的曲目。在演唱《Phoebe》前，她还澄清了自己与《老友记》的关系：“我看了一季半，看到了我需要看的，收获了我需要的，然后写了这首歌。”
距离《Who's The Clown?》发行近一年，Hobert——一度以与童年好友Gracie Abrams共同创作《That's So True》而出名——人气显著攀升。她在Governor's Ball和Lollapalooza音乐节上吸引了大量观众，北美两度巡演售罄，并为《Silver Jubilee》和《Sex and the City》推出自导视频。
