当地时间7月12日，总台记者获悉，菲律宾民防局官员表示，截至当日，受台风“巴威”及西南季风的影响，菲律宾已有至少18人死亡。
该官员称，此次灾害造成人员死亡的主要原因包括山体滑坡和溺水。（总台记者 黄铮铮）
