根据气象部门公布的数据，当地时间5月19日，印度北方邦班达地区的气温高达48.2摄氏度，再次刷新了该地区自1951年以来的最高气温纪录。
今年4月27日，班达的气温达到47.6摄氏度的高温，成为当日印度气温最高的地区。
天气预报显示，未来几天班达地区仍将维持44摄氏度以上的高温天气。（总台记者 张玥）
