5月13日，阿里巴巴CEO吴泳铭在财报会上表示，阿里计划，未来阿里云所持有的数据机房资产将是2022年AI爆发前的十倍以上增长，阿里未来三年的资本开支可能远超3800亿。他同时提到，目前情况复杂，不见得所有算力中心都会自建去获取，也可能以租赁方式获取，随着平头哥芯片产能扩大，也可能通过销售平头哥AI服务器的方式去和服务商共建数据中心。
