当地时间4月22日，央视记者获悉，美国西弗吉尼亚州发生一起化学品泄漏事故，导致两人死亡，另有多人需接受治疗。
有关当局通报称，事故发生在一家催化剂精炼公司，该公司主要从事环氧乙烷催化剂的精炼业务。
当地紧急服务局局长证实，此次泄漏的物质为硝酸，且该物质与另一种尚不明成分的化学品发生了混合。（央视记者 朱磊）
