德胜学校（国际）创办于2011年，是广东省第一批IB授权学校，拥有卓越的办学实力与办学成绩。立足顺德，放眼世界，德胜国际致力于培育具独立思考能力、志在追求卓越及以同理心服务社会的终身学习者。创办以来，德胜国际学子升学成绩屡创佳绩，有3名学子在全球IB统考中获得满分，学校IB均分连续多年领跑湾区。

DSI高度重视教师的专业发展，我校发起的“德胜国际教育研讨大会”就是最佳例子。教师在此平台上展示基于本土教学实践的行动研究及创新教学策略。通过持续的教学反思与优化，教师们为学生营造了一个安全且充满支持的学习环境。

每年全校学生投票选出“最具爱心”的老师及“最具启发性”的老师

我们提供均衡而全面的课程体系，旨在培养学生的终身学习能力。学校为七、八年级学生开设基础课程（融合中国国家课程与校本国际课程），九、十年级学生修读剑桥IGCSE课程，十一、十二年级学生则可选择国际文凭大学预科课程（IBDP）或英国高级水平课程（A-Level）。

多元的课程路径让不同学习需求和目标的学生都能在DSI茁壮成长。学校还开设英文第一语言、英文文学、戏剧与影视艺术、艺术与设计、音乐、计算机科学及人工智能、经济、商务管理等广泛学科，助力学生学术与兴趣的共同探索。

为满足不同学生的学习节奏与发展需求，德胜国际推出S Subject 学术支持计划（S=Supplementary，即「拓展超越」），在常规课程之外构建进阶跑道。项目依托精准的分层教学机制，针对学有余力、渴望深造的学子，在英文、数理、经济等多学科领域提供高阶科研与竞赛辅导。师资团队由行业博士、剑桥毕业生等名校背景的学术精英领衔，以小班化、定制化的教学模式，真正落实因材施教——让每一位有潜力的学生，都能在自己的学术赛道上加速奔跑，实现从“跟得上”到“走得远”的跨越。

体验式课程提供跨学科的实践学习，内容涵盖历史探究、跨学科研究、问题解决、服务学习及职业探索等领域。该课程的重要成果之一，是学生在参访社区中开展的持续性项目。

学生通过早期参与服务性学习，策划并实施各类创意、活动与服务项目，包括在自闭症儿童中心、养老院及乡村小学开展服务，以及组织筹款活动与艺术节等。这些由学生理事会统筹的举措，有效培养了学生的同理心、行动力与领导力。

在DSI，学生生活丰富多彩且充满启迪。由学生主导的课外活动项目，让他们能够深入探索个人兴趣，锻炼领导才能。我校的课外辅助课程（CCA）已在区域、全国乃至国际层面屡获认可，对校内外社群产生了积极影响。「学术休假」拓展课程（Sabbatical）鼓励学生自主设计并执教课程，与全校师生分享专长。家族体系则培养了同窗情谊与集体精神，而运动俱乐部每周提供竞技性与娱乐性兼备的运动项目。

为了进一步培养未来的学者、领袖、全球公民，DSI设计了丰富的学生领袖培养路径，让更多学生有机会发展领袖力。

学校还致力于构建多元的国际资源平台，让学生有机会了解社会与产业的前沿资讯，并接触国内外学者，从而开阔眼界，以此培养他们的跨文化理解力与全球竞争力。

乐团实验室（Orchestra Lab）与音乐大师课（Music Master Class） 是德胜国际音乐方向的两大特色实践平台。Orchestra Lab 打破传统排练模式，由职业演奏家与校内乐团联袂，将学生原创作品搬上舞台，完成从谱面到现场演出的全流程历练。同期开设的钢琴大师课则由国内外一线钢琴家驻校执教，通过一对一分层指导与公开演评，帮助学生攻克技术难点、深化音乐诠释。二者共同构建“实战演练+名师点拨”的双轨体系，让学生在真实演出情境中提升专业素养与舞台表现力。

学校珍视校园社区（家长、学生、老师）的声音，通过创设多种常态化的沟通平台，不仅拓宽了建言渠道，更增强了社区成员的归属感，共同营造了开放、互信的校园生态。

在我校的教育体系中，由校园社区共同决策年度发展方向，是至关重要的一环。以2025-2026学年主题的确立为例，我们践行了这一理念：从集体共创到民主决议，校长在开学典礼上发起倡议，学生通过工作坊贡献智慧，提出多项主题提案；从充分审议到广泛投票，随后经由PCCG（学生关怀与职业指导）课程深度讨论，最终由全校超过700名师生家长共同投票，选定“Learning Today, Leading Tomorrow（蓄力，赴新程）”作为新学年主题。这一过程不仅体现了我们对集体智慧的尊重，更将学生参与切实融入学校治理，确保我们的发展道路凝聚了最广泛的社区共识。

DSI学生在这个环境中茁壮成长，取得了令人瞩目的成果。他们不仅是学术上的佼佼者，更是富有社会责任感和领导力的青年榜样，在世界各地施展领袖力和影响力。

Founded in 2011, Desheng School (International) (DSI) was among the first cohort of International Baccalaureate (IB) World Schools in Guangdong Province, renowned for its exceptional educational practice and outstanding academic results. Grounded in Shunde with a global outlook, DSI is committed to nurturing independent lifelong learners who strive for excellence and serve with compassion.

Since its establishment, our students have consistently achieved remarkable academic success. This includes three students attaining the perfect score of 45 points in the IB Diploma Programme examinations, while the school's average IB score has led the Greater Bay Area for multiple consecutive years.

Guided by the vision of the senior leadership team, DSI has assembled a dynamic, highly skilled, and dedicated faculty. Our teachers, who hail from over 13 countries, lead, care, and inspire students within a sustainable professional learning community that encourages innovation and collaboration. As advocates for lifelong learning themselves, our teachers continuously enhance their professional practice. Our dedication to professional growth shines through initiatives such as the DSI Education Conference, where our teachers showcase their action research and innovative teaching strategies rooted in our local context. Through constant reflection and refinement, our teachers cultivate a safe and supportive learning environment for students.

Each year, our entire student body votes to select the "Most Caring Teacher" and the "Most Inspiring Teacher."

We offer a balanced and comprehensive curriculum designed to cultivate lifelong learning skills. The school provides a Foundation Programme (an integration of Chinese National Curriculum and school-based international curriculum) for Grades 7 and 8, Cambridge IGCSE for Grades 9 and 10, and IB Diploma Programme or A Levels for Grades 11 and 12.

These diverse pathways allow students with different learning needs and goals to flourish at DSI. A wide range of subjects, including Theatrical and Cinematic Arts, Arts and Design, Music, Computer Science, and AI, allows for both academic and talent exploration.

To meet the diverse learning paces and developmental needs of our students, Desheng School (International) has launched the S Subject Programme (S = Supplementary), creating an advanced pathway beyond the standard curriculum.

The programme adopts a precise differentiated teaching approach, providing high-level research and competition coaching in subjects such as English, Mathematics, Sciences, and Economics for students with strong academic potential and a drive for deeper learning. Led by a team of academic specialists — including doctorate degree holders and graduates from the University of Cambridge and other world-class institutions — the programme delivers small-group, tailored instruction to truly embody education suited to individual ability. It enables every capable student to accelerate along their own academic track, moving from keeping up to excelling ahead.

Our Experiential Programmes offer interdisciplinary, hands-on learning across areas such as historical inquiry, cross-disciplinary research, problem-solving, service learning, and career exploration. One of the key outcomes of this program is the long-term projects students develop through their community service.

Early involvement in service learning enables students to plan and implement CAS projects, including service at local centres for autistic children, nursing homes, rural village primary schools, fundraising events, arts galas, and more. These initiatives, guided by the Student Governing Council, develop empathy, initiative, and leadership among our learners.

Every two weeks, DSI students visit the Yi Nian Yuan for community service.

Student life at DSI is vibrant and inspiring. Student-led initiatives, such as our Co-curricular Activities, enable students to explore their passions and develop leadership skills. Our CCAs have won regional, national and international recognitions, impacting our community and beyond. The Sabbatical Week empowers students to design, lead, and teach courses, sharing their expertise across the school community.

The House system strengthens peer bonding and collective identity, while our sports clubs offer weekly programmes that combine both competitive and recreational activities.

To further cultivate future scholars, leaders, and global citizens, DSI has designed a comprehensive student leadership development pathway, providing more students with opportunities to develop their leadership competencies.

The school is also committed to building a diverse international resource platform, providing students with opportunities to access cutting-edge information from society and industry, as well as engage with scholars both domestically and internationally. This exposure broadens their horizons and fosters their cross-cultural understanding and global competitiveness.

The Orchestra Lab and Music Master Class are two signature performance platforms within the music stream at DSI. The Orchestra Lab moves beyond traditional rehearsal models by bringing together professional musicians and the school ensemble, to stage student-original works — guiding students through the full process from score to live performance. Complementing this, the Music Master Class features residencies by leading pianists and instrumentalists, who deliver tailored one‑to‑one coaching and public masterclasses to help students refine technique and deepen musical interpretation. Together, these programmes create a dual-track framework of ‘performance immersion’ and ‘master guidance’, enabling students to advance their artistry and stagecraft in authentic professional settings.

The school values the voices of our school community (parents, students, and teachers). By establishing various regular communication platforms, we have not only expanded channels for feedback but also strengthened the sense of belonging among community members, collectively fostering an open and mutually trusting environment.

In our educational system, involving the entire school community in setting our annual development direction is essential. The selection of the 2025–2026 school theme exemplifies this practice: from collective brainstorming to democratic decision-making. At the Opening Ceremony, the Principal initiated the process, after which students contributed ideas through workshops and proposed several theme options. These proposals were then discussed in depth during PCCG sessions before moving to a community-wide vote. Ultimately, more than 700 students, teachers, and parents selected “Learning Today, Leading Tomorrow” as the theme for the new academic year. This process not only reflects our respect for collective wisdom but also embeds genuine student participation in school governance, ensuring our development aligns with the shared vision of our community.

DSI students thrive in this environment, achieving remarkable outcomes. They excel not only academically but also serve as exemplary young role models with a strong sense of social responsibility and leadership, exerting their influence and leadership across the globe.

During the pandemic, graduate Adeline Ma, serving as an international student leader, distributed anti-epidemic supplies to Chinese students in the UK while also organizing donation drives to send essential materials back to her home country.

Graduate Victoria Gao was invited as the youngest and first Asian speaker at the 2022 International Congress on Tic Disorders and ADHD.

To date, DSI has proudly witnessed nine cohorts of graduates successfully complete their studies. Armed with the determination to "Dare to Excel" they carry forward their ideals and wisdom, confidently stepping onto the global stage to shine brightly.
