北京时间3月27日，据记者埃杜消息，阿根廷国家队补招的前锋帕尼切利因重伤无缘世界杯。
记者埃杜表示：“帕尼切利右膝十字韧带撕裂。他两年前曾遭遇过同样的伤病。
明日将为他安排进一步复查检查，目前当日确诊结果如上。”
记者Martin Arevalo表示：“遗憾的是，帕尼切利因严重受伤将无缘本届世界杯。”
据称，帕尼切利在阿根廷国家队训练中遭遇十字韧带断裂重伤。
奥莱报方面则表示：据阿根廷国家队方面消息，帕尼切利今日右膝受伤，明日将接受进一步检查评估。
