当地时间3月25日，美国南方司令部表示，当天“南方之矛”联合特遣部队对一艘由被认定为“恐怖组织”的实体所操控的船只实施了一次实战打击。
美国南方司令部称，该船只当时正沿加勒比海域已知的“贩毒”航线航行，并正在从事“毒品贩运”活动。在此次行动中，四名男性“毒品恐怖分子”被击毙，美军方面无人员伤亡。（央视记者 刘旭）
