北京时间2月24日，据雅虎体育记者Tom Haberstroh报道，NBA正考虑取消伦纳德与快船的合同使其成为自由球员。
据报道，因伦纳德与快船老板鲍尔默之间的阴阳合同事件，NBA在考虑可能认定伦纳德与快船的合同无效。该决定会使伦纳德成为自由球员。
若伦纳德正式成为自由球员，湖人、勇士、尼克斯将对其展开追逐。
