《我是新六军少尉：从印缅战场到辽沈战役》是由黄耀武老人口述的回忆录，是一位普通士兵的战争经历。书中真实到令人窒息的细节，将我们拽入1944年至1948年间，那个充满矛盾与挣扎的年代。书中的记录特别淳朴也很实在。远征军部分把英军从头批到尾真的好耿直，后面国共内战这部分心理转变也是没有丝毫隐瞒地表达了出来，作为口述历史的一本书很值得一读。
